Connie Tsui-Burchfield

Connie is an experienced executive consultant based in Hong Kong. For more than twenty years, she has been involved in developing people and building business solutions in Asia Pacific.

 

Currently, Connie is the Managing Director and Executive Coach at Radix Consulting. Her work involves designing and delivering bespoke leadership development programs for the next generation executives. She works with ambitious leaders who struggle with strategy, change management, team development, conflict management and performance derailment. Connie is able to promise deliverables and quick impact because her approach aims to accelerate individual growth. She keeps abreast of the latest developments in her field to adopt best practices and distill her research findings into applications. Many of her clients have been successfully promoted to new roles or taken up higher responsibilities. Her clientele at Radix ranges from multinational corporations to local conglomerates.  She is also the first consultant in Hong Kong to bring in the Resilience Assessment (developed by Dr. Linda Hoopes and used by over 100,000 from 500 organizations worldwide.) 

 

Connie's practice draws on her experience in corporate strategy, financial reporting, regional operations, global vendor management and change management. Connie was the Practice Leader and Managing Consultant at Hay Group from 2012 to early 2015. Her clients have included RBS, ING, HSBC, CMBC, TAL Group, Kingfisher, AstraZeneca, Baxter, British American Tobacco, Hong Kong University of Science & Technology, among others. From 2007 to 2012, Connie had dual roles at Adecco Group. She was Managing Director for Adecco Human Capital Solutions as well as Strategy Director for Lee Hecht Harrison, the consulting arm of Adecco, where she was also responsible for profit and loss operations. In addition to her management and consulting skills, Connie has also been the top salesperson in each of the companies she has worked for. In 2012, she was awarded the President's Award for Exceptional Team Performance at Lee Hecht Harrison.

 

Connie has a B.A. in Administrative and Information Studies from The University of Western Ontario, an MBA from Hong Kong Baptist University, and Post-graduate Executive Education from Harvard Business School. She has been a certified coach with Lee Hecht Harrison (recognised by International Coaching Federation) since 2005. She is also certified in General Counseling, Neuro-Linguistic Programming, Hypnosis and a number of assessment tools.

 

Volunteer work has always been important to Connie. Currently, she is the Vice-Chair, International Academy of APAC Profeessional Managers Association and an active member of The Friends of Guangming Association.  She is also investigating companionship services for elders with dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. When Connie is not working, she enjoys reading and cooking at home.
